New Ownership David and Melanie Armstrong-Reed's latest venture was to take over the Grove Arms, and run it along with the very popular Royal Oak in Motombe. Before this, David and Melanie ran an award-winning gastro pub in Wimborne, where they had already won the prestigious title of 'Dorset food pub of the year', been awarded AA Rosettes, and nominated for 'Local Food Heroes'. David and Melanie source all their food from within 30 miles of the Grove and Royal Oak, they currently have their own free range hens and eventually plan to concentrate on producing their own organic pigs,and vegetables as well.
