Compton Abbas Airfield is a favourite with families, it offers a Cafe, Aviation Museum and plenty of flying action every day. Also another ideal place to visit is old Wardour Castle, an English Heritage site just a few miles away.

There also is Stourhead House & Gardens, a National Trust property, as well as Longleat House & Safari Park within an half hour drive.
